Arrival in Oslo and hotel check-in.

Midday: Group meeting at the hotel.
Tour of the Bygdøy peninsula: visit to the Royal Summer Residence, the Folk Museum, and the Historical Museum. Discussion of great Norwegian explorers — Amundsen, Nansen, and Thor Heyerdahl. History of the Norwegian Royal House.
Return to the city center. Short fjord cruise around Oslo by boat.
Evening: Welcome dinner at Oslo Yacht Club.
For the most active: Evening walk through Frogner Park in the soft twilight. The Rose Garden and sculptures by Gustav Vigeland — the world's largest sculptural ensemble created by a single artist.
Day 2: Thursday, June 18 — Oslo
Morning: Visit to the Henrik Ibsen Museum-Theatre with Mikhail Kazinik.
Midday: Lunch at an Italian restaurant*
Excursion: Behind-the-scenes tour of Oslo Opera House and visit to costume workshops. Discussion of the theatre's programme and architecture: a masterpiece by Snøhetta crafted from Carrara marble.
Lecture by Mikhail Kazinik: "The Hidden Signs of Prokofiev". Discussion of the ballet's music and Shakespeare's dramatic plot.
Evening: Light dinner at a gastronomic restaurant featuring minimalist Norwegian cuisine or at the theatre bistro*.
19:00 Performance of the ballet "Romeo and Juliet" to Prokofiev's music at Oslo Opera House.

Morning: Nobel Peace Center with Mikhail Kazinik.
Visit to the National Museum of Oslo with an art historian guide. History of Norwegian painting.
The museum opened in 2022. Highlights include:
6,500 works from Norway's largest collection of art, architecture, and design — from ancient times to the present. Key stages in Norwegian art history presented in dialogue with major international works. Busts of Roman emperors, unique 12th-century tapestries, royal costumes and works by contemporary Norwegian designers, 17th-century still lifes, numerous works by Edvard Munch including *The Scream*, textile works by Hannah Ryggen and woodcuts by John Savio, installations by Per Inge Bjørlo, Ilya Kabakov, and more.
Midday: Lunch at a Norwegian seafood restaurant*
Visit to a Hardanger violin shop or a traditional Norwegian blacksmithing workshop.
For the most active: Visit to the Munch Museum.
Evening: 19:00: Lecture-concert by Mikhail Kazinik "The Secrets of Scandinavian Music"

Day 4: Saturday, June 20 — Oslo to Bergen
Morning: Breakfast and hotel checkout.
12:00 Panoramic train Oslo–Bergen (7 hours), one of the world's most scenic railway routes.
Midday: Lunch on board the train.
Discussion of Norwegian literature and cinema. Film screenings. Conversation on the origins of Nordic minimalism.
Evening: Arrival in Bergen. Hotel check-in.
Dinner at a gastronomic restaurant/bistro*
Day 5: Sunday, June 21 — Bergen
Morning: Excursion to Troldhaugen — Edvard Grieg's residence — with Mikhail Kazinik. Conversation about the composer's life. Mini-concert.
Midday: Lunch at a picturesque fjord-side restaurant*
Visit to the historic 13th-century Håkon's Hall.
Expert-led walk: Shops featuring Norwegian designers and antiques.
For the most active: Exhibition *Art Nouveau: Paris–Bergen. Expo 1900* (Tiffany – Galle – Majorelle – Harris).
Evening: Dinner at leisure based on recommendations*
Day 6: Monday, June 22 — Bergen
Morning: Excursion through the historic Bryggen quarter (UNESCO World Heritage Site), visit to the Hanseatic Museum.
CRAFT — an exploratory exhibition where large-scale immersive installations sit alongside miniature, almost jewel-like works: glass, ceramics, textiles, metal, wood, and digital media.
Optional visit to the University of Bergen Museum to see the oldest surviving Hardanger violin.
Midday: Lunch*
4-hour mini-cruise through the fjords. Discussion of local crafts, ecology, and the oil industry.
Evening: Light dinner at a restaurant with fjord views*
Day 7: Tuesday, June 23
Morning: Funicular ride up Mount Fløyen for panoramic city views and a photo session.
Midday: Lunch at the fish market* Preparation for the celebration.
Walk through the colourful Nordnes quarter, shopping. Masterclass in knitting Norwegian sweaters.
Evening: Midsummer. Picnic and Ivan Kupala celebration on the island of Askøy / at Church Bay, depending on weather.
Day 8: Wednesday, June 24
Farewell breakfast and transfer to the airport* or additional programme options.
